This past weekend, Jocelyn and I went to Pisa and the mountain-top town of Volterra. It was definitely an adventure with all the different buses, intense language barrier and time constraints. Last night, I made a friend on the bus back to Milan. He didn't speak any English and I don't speak Spanish, but we had a full conversation. It's things like that, that make it all worth it. I, for sure learned a lot of life lessons on this short weekend trip.
above is one of my new friends,

because i get all the feel-goods when i'm around castle-esque architecture
